Peter Dinklage was born with achondroplasia, a form of dwarfism. He was the only member of his family with this abnormality. His parents and older brother, Jonathan, have the right heights. As a child, he and his brother performed puppet musicals for the people in their neighbourhood in Brookside, New Jersey.
