The late Nigerian singer, Ilerioluwa Olademeji Aloba, popularly known as Mohbad, started vomiting after he was administered an injection by a nurse, according to his disc jockey Ajisegiri Ayobami.
The DJ told an inquest looking into Mohbad’s death in Ikorodu on Wednesday.
The inquest heard that Ajisegiri was with the late Mohbad before he died.
It also heard that Mohbad vomited the noodles his brother, Adura Aloba, prepared for him.
Ajisegiri explained that the previous day, which was a Sunday, they went for a show at Ikorodu, and on their way back, their Toyota Prado was blocked, and he saw Mohbad come down from his SUV to fight his friend, Primeboy but got injured
Ajisegiri also told the coroner that the injury sustained by Mohbad was a small cut on his hand and that by the time they got home at midnight, the hand was already swollen, a report by The PUNCH said.
He stated that they tried to call Mohbad’s personal nurse, but she said she was not around, so one of their team members identified as Spending said he knew a nurse.
Ajisegiri said they called the nurse and that she gave Mohbad an injection.
Ajisegiri asserted that Mohbad was doing fine before the nurse came and slept before he was injected. He said that there was water on the floor in Mohbad’s room and that he went to get a mop when his wife shouted his name from upstairs that he should come back.
According to the witness, when he got there, he saw that Mohbad had collapsed on the floor and vomited the noodles that he had eaten.
He added that he also noticed that he had goosebumps.
He said, “The nurse said we should go and get him drugs; while we were at the pharmacy, I called the house to know how he was feeling, and they said I should come back.
“When I got back, they were already outside trying to put him in a neighbour’s car to get him to the hospital, but the way I saw him, he was lifeless. His eyes were closed, and his hands were falling.”
“While we were going to the hospital, there was traffic, so I came down from the other vehicle and ran to the hospital; I asked them if they had an an ambulance, and they said no. Before I could get back to them, I saw them bringing Mohbad on a bike, and when we got to the hospital, he was confirmed dead,” the witness added

An alleged notorious criminal, Nasiru Abdullahi, popularly known as Chile Maidoki who was recently declared wanted, has joined the Nigeria Police Force as a police constabulary.
In trending pictures, Abdullahi was seen with a senior police officer at one of the Police Colleges and Training Schools.
He is among the 10,000 police constabularies undergoing six-month long training exercise to enhance community policing across the country.
In August, Abdullahi and two other notorious criminals were declared wanted by the Kano command with a bounty of N100,000 each.
However, he turned himself in at the Bompai headquarters of the command few days after.
A statement then by Abdullahi Kiyawa, the police spokesperson in Kano had said Abdullahi reported himself to the commissioner of police.
He was quoted as saying he slept “at burial ground yards in Kano city just to evade detection by security personnel”.
“One of the three notorious wanted criminals named Nasiru Abdullahi, popularly known as Chile Maidoki of Layin Falwaya Kurna Makabarta Quarters Kano has surrendered himself to the Office of the Commissioner of Police, Kano State Command, CP Mohammed Usaini Gumel, upon hearing the declaration of N100,000:00 bounty for his arrest,” the statement had read.
“This brings a total of 100 documented and profiled Repentant Criminals being that so far surrendered themselves to the police command.
“During the hide and seek regime the said repentant terror Chile Maidoki said to the police that he used to sleep at burial ground yard in Kano City just to evade detection by security personnel.
“He is now appealing to the Police and the good people of the State to forgive him, that he has repented and is now ready to work with the Police to promote sustainable peace and development in the State. He is therefore not to be arrested by the Police or stigmatised by members of the public.
“The remaining two with N100,000:00 bounty on each for clues or information leading to their arrests. They are: Abba Burakita of Dorayi Quarters and Hantar Daba of Kwanar Disu.
“Prospectus beneficiaries of these bounties with credible information on their whereabouts are required to contact the nearest Police Station.”

The accident also cornered and damaged a bus bearing the inscription, 'Senior Staff Association of Electricity and Allied Companies.'
Operatives of the Lagos Fire and Rescue Service were seen at the scene of the incident, trying to guard against a fire outbreak.
LASTMA also reports that their officials are on the ground doing the needful, and efforts to evacuate the truck are ongoing.

The 22-year-old also stated that people's opinions of her marriage don't matter to her as she is happily married.While showering praises on her husband, Ned Nwoko, she added that in contrast to what social media people think, she and her husband live together, and even sleep in the same room.
In a recent interview with BBC Pidgin, she stated that her marriage is solid as opposed to what people generally speculate online.She also said that her husband joins her in laughing when going through people's wrong assumptions on social media.
She said: "Truly, he is the real odogwu and our marriage is sweeter than what people see. Sometimes, when I see people online saying, 'I'm sure this isn't how they are at home," my husband and I read those comments laughing and thinking: if only they knew how it is inside our household."

Two yet-to-be-identified persons are currently in the hospital for treatment after being rescued from an early morning accident on Saturday, involving a tipper-like truck with registration number MUS 125 XV and a trailer with registration number JJJ 405 XT at the PWD Bus Stop, Agege Motorway, Ikeja, Lagos.
According to an eyewitness, the accident occurred at about 6. a.m.
Meanwhile, the Ikeja rescue team of the Lagos State Fire and Rescue Service was deployed to save the situation.
Director, Lagos State Fire and Rescue Service, Margaret Adeseye, confirmed the incident.
Adeseye stated that on arrival, the agency discovered that the truck accidentally rammed into the stationery trailer while in motion from Oshodi inward Ikeja-Along after losing its passenger’s side front tyre.
“A male adult driver and an adult female passenger were rescued alive with the help of the first aid treatment that was administered on them by health responders of the Lagos State Ambulance along with the Lagos State Response Unit,” she stated.
The victims were later rushed to the nearby Lagos State University Teaching Hospital, LASUTH, for further treatment, while efforts was ongoing to evacuate the vehicles off the road as if press time.
