No player in NBA history is taller than Manute Bol. Over the course of his career, the 7ft 7in South Sudanese blocked more shots than he scored points, making him the only NBA player ever to do so. After he played college basketball for the Bridgeport Purple Knights, Bol was selected by the Washington Bullets in the 1985 NBA draft. Bol played for the Bullets and three other teams over the course of his NBA career, which lasted from 1985 to 1995. Bol is considered among the best shot-blockers in the history of the sport and is the only NBA player to retire with more career blocked shots than points scored. As of December 2022, he ranked second in NBA history in blocked shots per game and 16th in total blocked shots.

Bol was notable for his efforts to promote human rights in his native Sudan and aid for Sudanese refugees.
Bol was also the only player in the NBA to have killed a lion with a spear and to have paid 80 cows for his wife.

Tracing a phone number location can be a complex task, and it's important to note that tracing a phone number without proper authorization is illegal in many jurisdictions. However, in some cases where you have a legitimate reason to trace a phone number, there are legal methods and services available. Here are some ways to trace a phone number location:

1. Use a Reverse Phone Lookup Service: There are various online services and websites that offer reverse phone lookup features. You can enter the phone number you want to trace, and if the information is publicly available, the service may provide you with the general location of the phone number's origin.

2. Contact Law Enforcement: If you have a legitimate reason, such as reporting a harassing call or a potential threat, you can contact law enforcement authorities and provide them with the phone number. They may have the appropriate resources to trace the location of the phone number through legal means.

3. Mobile Carrier or Service Provider: In cases of harassment or security concerns, you can also reach out to the mobile carrier or service provider associated with the phone number. They might be able to assist in identifying the user and the phone's location.

4. Mobile Tracking Apps: Some mobile tracking apps and services allow you to track the location of a phone, but these usually require the consent of the phone's owner and may not work without specific permissions.

5. Mobile Operating System Tracking: Some mobile operating systems, such as Android and iOS, have built-in tracking features that allow users to locate their devices remotely. If the phone number you want to trace is linked to a device with these features enabled, the owner might be able to share their location with you.

It's essential to respect privacy laws and use these methods responsibly and ethically. Tracing a phone number location without proper authorization can infringe on individuals' privacy rights and may lead to legal consequences. If you are dealing with a potentially dangerous situation or illegal activity, it's best to seek help from law enforcement professionals who can handle the matter appropriately and within the bounds of the law

I want to be remembered
like a valiant warrior
of my tales of valour
with my name
written down in the book of historic record;
my memories unceasing;
the chronicles unforgotten

l want to be remembered
like a king
who ruled in truth and justice;
guided his people rightly; and
prioritize parity principle a priority
A king that put his people's interest as first
granting utmost satisfaction unto them.

I want to be remembered
as a black man
proud of his skin color and kind;
the beauty and uniqueness it imbibe
that the white men envied through time
strong and impeccable in rise
stood to defend his nation
till the last breath of his mouth.

I want to remembered
like a wildly experienced writer
excellent at creativity
with colourful imaginations that express positivity
His works marveled the world;
his name traveled ages throughout worlds
like a writing god in human form, he reigned
fame beyound comparison, he gained.

l want to be remembered—
a true lenged
who united nations
on the treaties of peace;
banished the anguish and sorrow of the desolated and lost souls to a cease;
Taught the young minds to
refrain from odds;
and amongst them love be made king
and give in to a better tomorrow; a better world
on the trail of hard work, perseverance and hope.

Under no circumstances should these frogs be handled❗

Their skin secretions are strong nerve poisons, providing them with protection from predators and explaining their bright cautionary coloration.

Yet exotic lovers raise tree frogs in terrariums. So what about their venomous nature? The fact is that in most cases it is caused by their nutrition: in the nature they eat small ants and termites and accumulate their venom. In terrariums, deprived of their "poisonous nourishment", tree frogs become practically harmless after a while

Oba Adeniran Adeyemi II was the Alaafin of Oyo, between 1945 and 1954, until he was forced into exile by the Action Group-led government of the Western Region of Nigeria, as a result of the death of the Deputy leader of the Action Group Chief Bode Thomas (1918–1953), and also for having sympathy, for the rival National Council of Nigerian Citizens (NCNC) party of Dr. Nnamdi Azikiwe.

Thomas was a brilliant lawyer, but also very haughty and arrogant. He was made the Divisional Council Chairman in 1953, while the Alaafin of Oyo was a mere member. On his first appearance in council, all the members stood up for him to welcome him except Oba Adeyemi II, who for cultural reasons, could not show deference to anyone in public. Bode Thomas rudely shouted at the king, for having the temerity and audacity to disrespect him. “Why are you sitting when I walked in, you don’t know how to show respect?”
At that time, Bode Thomas was 35 years old while Oba Adeyemi was in his 60s.The Alaafin felt very insulted and nonplussed and he asked in the Yoruba language: “se emi lon gbomo baun?” (Is it me you are barking at like that?). The Alaafin just told him: “Ma gbo lo baun” (continue barking).

The confrontation happened on November 22, 1953. Bode Thomas got home and started barking! He barked and barked like a dog all night until he died in the early morning of November 23, 1953. He cut short his promising career through pride and died without fulfilling his potential. Although, what the Alaafin did might have been extreme. It’s a lesson to us all that “Pride goes before destruction and a haughty spirit before a fall.”

LIght

I stroll down the street of my neighborhood, arms folded across my chest. It is a cold night. Everyone has hit the haystack. It seems I am the only one outside by now, trudging on this path. And the moon that hung right up in the sky.

I check my wrist watch. 11:45 p.m. quite late to be wandering about. But I cannot sleep. My mind feels unease and heavy.
it calls to me to seek. To seek light. As if the darkness is dominating my being and light is essential.

But where do l find the light?

I take the turn to my left and continue walking.

But what if I never find the light? Will I become something— like an evil or servant of the dark or anything beastly?
Is it even true that darkness is evil or bad as they say? Why do they fail to acknowledge that it is just a colour— Black and nothing more? After all, black things are rather fitting and beautiful.

But I rather follow my heart. Mabye the light has a significant role on my being.

I stumble upon a strong object and fall. An l arrangement of stones it seem. " Fuck! Kids"

Then l see it afar. The light. It draws nearer to me, becoming brighter, and illuminating my environment.

" Eventually, " I said, grinning happily, " We find each other."

A manly voice trails from behind the light: who are you?

Step 2: Raise the machine’s presser foot using its lever. The presser foot is the foot-shaped metal piece that holds the fabric flat while you feed it through the machine to keep your sewing on track. Lift this foot up by raising the lever beside it to release tension on the tension disks and make the machine easier to thread.
You can also remove the presser foot entirely to expose the threading path at the stitching plate and make it even easier to thread. There is usually a button at the back of the foot that you can press to take it off.

Mount Rushmore was the brain child of a South Dakota historian named Doane Robinson, who was looking for a way to attract more tourists to his state. He hired a sculptor named Gutzon Borglum to carve the faces into the mountain. Though the Lakota Sioux people, who considered the Black Hills to be sacred ground, strongly opposed the project. The mountain was previously part of the Great Sioux Reservation before being taken away from them by the U.S. government.
Sculpting began on the mountain in 1927, Washington's face was the first to be completed in 1934. Jefferson's was dedicated in 1936 - with then president Franklin Roosevelt in attendance - and Lincoln's was completed a year later. In 1939, Teddy Roosevelt's face was completed.
Mount Rushmore National Memorial is a massive sculpture carved into Mount Rushmore in the Black Hills region of South Dakota. Completed in 1941 under the direction of Gutzon Borglum and his son Lincoln, the sculpture's roughly 60-ft.-high granite faces depict U.S. presidents George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, Theodore Roosevelt and Abraham Lincoln. The site also features a museum with interactive exhibits.

*THE WITCH’S DAUGHTER*

CHAPTER 1

I was only five years old and we had just moved into that neighbourhood. My father worked at the hospital, which required us to move a lot. The hospital, which was run by a church, had a habit of transferring its hospital staff to a new station every after about six years. That’s how we happened to find ourself in that town and in that neighbourhood. Under normal circumstances, we were supposed to live in the hospital compound. The hospital actually had a compound for its staff. However, we were told it was full. We had no choice but to seek accommodation in town.

My family was composed of my dad, mum, younger sister and I. My younger sister was three and had just started school before we were forced to move. My mum was a teacher in the private sector and my dad as you already know, was medical personnel.

It was difficult for us to have accommodation. However, my dad was advised to seek the help of a housing agent. While our belongings were packed at the hospital store room, we had to wait another two weeks before we could get a call from the agent. He asked my dad to see him in his office the following day. He said he had been able to secure for us a good apartment for a family our size. My dad was very pleased and promised to see him the next day without fail. The next day, my dad took me along in his car to see the agent. We got to his office some thirty minutes later and this conversation followed.

“Good Day, Sir and welcome.” The agent said.

“Good Day, young man. How are you?”

“I am fine, Sir.”

“So, any luck yet? Have you been able to get an apartment for me like you promised you would?” My dad asked.

“Yes, Sir. I have. A nice apartment. I hope you will love it.”

“I hope so too. But why did you say that?” My dad asked, bewildered.

“The neighbourhood, Sir. I am not a very big fan of that neighbourhood. In fact, I am not crazy about that neighbourhood at all.” The agent said, sweating.

“Why? What is wrong with the neighbourhood?’ My dad asked.

“It is said that witches and wizards inhabit the neighbourhood. Terrible things have been happening in that neighbourhood. In fact, a lot of terrible stories have been coming from that part of town.”

My dad was a devout Christian. As much as he believed evil spirits exist, he also believed strongly in the holy spirit. Stories of ghosts and evil spirits didn’t scare him. He believed nothing under the sky can harm him as long as his faith and trust in God was unshaken.

“Tell me some of the stories of that neighbourhood you have heard about.” My dad said.

“Are you sure you really want to hear?” The agent asked.

“I do. Please tell me. I am, a busy man and I don’t have time to waste. Go on with your stories about painted devils.” My dad was getting impatient.

“Sir, the stories are real. These stories are not about painted devils. They are real. For example, the mother of the lady who owns the apartment I am getting for you was said to be a witch. She has died, anyway. However, rumour has it that, the landlady was her favourite child. She therefore passed on all her witchcraft to her before dying. It is rumoured that she killed her husband, that is the father of the landlady.” The agent narrated.

My dad didn’t seem to be scared by the stories. In addition to his strong and unwavering believe in God, my dad was also a very stubborn man. He was also very adventurous, a trait I had unfortunately acquired.

“The father of the landlady; was he rich?” My dad asked the agent.

“Very rich, Sir. Very, very rich.” The agent said.

“That explains it.” My dad said, laughing. “Whenever a rich man dies, people always accuse his poor and innocent wife. That is Africa. I don’t believe any of your stories. Let’s talk about the rents, terms and conditions and when I am moving in.”

“Ok, Sir. If you say so. I just said I should tell you what I need to tell you, so that you don’t say I hid anything from you in the future.” The agent said.

“Alright, thank you. Now let’s get to the real business of the day.” My dad had really become impatient now.

“The apartment costs 50,000 a month. You have to pay one-year rents upfront.”

“Ok, what else?”

“There are just two apartments in that particular building. Yours is at the right-hand corner. The landlady also lives in the compound. Her own apartment is directly opposite yours. However, there is a huge space separating the two buildings. You can move in as soon as you are able to pay the money.” The agent explained.

“That will be tomorrow. I will pay tomorrow, clean the house and moving in the day after. Now take this.” My dad said, handing him the agency fees.

“Thank you, Sir. Thank you very much. I appreciate.”

“That’s alright, young man. Now any other ghost stories?” My dad asked with a smile on his face.

“None whatsoever, Sir.” The agent said. I suspected in his mind, he said, “You will find out for yourself.”

My dad asked me to get into the car and we drove off. As we drove home, he warned me not to tell my mum anything about the agent’s stories. He made me to expressly promise him I wouldn’t. I did promise I wouldn’t and I had no intentions of not keeping my promise. My dad was not the kind of person whose promise you would break in any circumstance. He was a great disciplinarian but very caring and loving.

My dad hadn’t believed anything he was told by the agent. To him it was an old wives’ tale. To him it was stories men told each other when they were drinking at their ogogoro joints. However, as young as I was, I believed the agent and I was very angry at my dad for making me promise not to say anything to my mum.

I believed the agent because I had experienced some strange things in our former station. I couldn’t tell if they were real or not but they were very vivid and explicit. One day, while I was at the back of the house, I had seen witches, carrying little babies on their backs, dancing. They disappeared as soon as they realized I had seen them. At night I was always seeing a black head always looking and blinking at me. I also once had a hallucination where some wizards were trying to kill me and my dad was begging them not to. Suddenly my dad was dragged away and as they attempted to strike me; my three years old younger sister appeared in the form of an angel with a halo around her head and saved me.

I had never told anyone any of these devilries. As young as I was, I kept them in my mind. I decided that as we moved into the new house, if my father didn’t want to take any precautions, I would. For the sake of my mum and younger sister.

MY GOD, WHEN?

Part 9.

I was deceived!

I never knew Daniel was playing on my emotions. I never knew he could ever betray me.

When I needed him the most, he turned me down.

My love for him became questionable.

"Daniel, do you still love me?" I asked.

He managed to utter a simple "yes".

"Daniel, can you marry a lady without womb? " I asked.

His response threw me off balance.

"Damilola, I know you really tried for me. I'm going to pay you back soon, in the future.

I can't marry you since you have no womb. I can't marry you because of your family background. Your parents will not like you to marry a pauper like me. We are totally different. Our levels are different" Daniel said.

To be sincere with you, I almost slapped him. I wanted to hit him with my shoe.

I wanted to bite him.

I could not.

I cried my eyes out.

" You mean you cannot marry me after all I've done for you? You mean you cannot marry me after aborting pregnancies for you? You mean you cannot marry me, after I accommodated you for years?" I said in tears.

"I'm sorry, Damilola, it is over between us. I know you don't deserve this. You are such a very kind lady. But, I'm so sorry, marriage is a no go area for us" Daniel said.

"You said you love me, Daniel. Why are you changing your mind again?" I asked.

I was praying deep inside of me, for him to have a change of mind.

But, I was wrong.

He didn't change his mind.

Little did I know that the love between Daniel and Darasimi waxed strong.

They were still deeply in love with each other.

I was actually the fool.

I begged Daniel to accept me. All, to no avail.

Daniel packed his things out of my apartment.

I felt like strangling him as he was packing his things. I almost caused a scene. I wanted to embarrass him publicly but, I refrained myself.

It dawned on me that I was used and dumped.

I wept bitterly 😭😭😭😭😭.

I wept uncontrollably when I remembered the man that asked for my hand in marriage. He was supposed to by my husband, but I sent him out of my life.

Now, he is happily married after a year I turned his proposal down.

My mum's nightmares came to pass.

🤔I forgot to tell you that I was among one of the best students in my department. Yes, I was still focused despite the fact that I was into a relationship.

My dad was so proud of me. 🤔All my sexual scandals were hidden from him.

I was a godly lady whenever I visited my parents. I behaved well. I pretented to be a burning Christian lady. Yes, I was an hypocrite.

My mum was such an inquisitive woman. Very sensitive woman. She sensed I had erred. She tried asking me questions to know where I was missing it.

I played the game well, so that she would not get to know about my campus life. Smartly!

I was employed immediately after school.

No man to call my fiancée.

My life was broken. It was shattered.

For months, I was in search of Daniel's life. I was plotting his death.

I just wanted him gone.

I couldn't succeed.

I tried commiting suicide because I was tired of living.

I became an empty vessel.

My dreams were shattered.

I just couldn't find my root any more.

I didn't know when I went to the market to buy rope.

I went to the bush, ready to hang myself when I heard a voice.

"Damilola, have you seen what backsliding from God caused you?".

I wept.

I didn't know I came along with my phone. It was ringing.

I picked the call because it was a strange number. I tried to recognize the person I was speaking to.

It was my mum.

"Damilola, God still loves you. Don't commit that suicide". She said and ended the call.

I tried to process everything in my mind, I trembled.

I began to shake.

How did she know my plan? She must be a real witch. I said.

I sat, wept uncontrollably😭😭😭😭.

My life was finished. Nothing to write home about.

I was still weeping when a woman came to meet me where I was sitting.

*CANCER IS DEFEATED.*

   Pineapple hot water:-
Please spread the word!!  Please spread the word!!
ICBS General Hospital Professor Dr. Gilbert A.  Kwok insisted that if everyone who received this bulletin could send ten copies to ten people, at least one life would be saved.
I have done my part; hope you too can..
     Thanks!

    Pineapple hot water can save you from cancer;
    Hot pineapple kills cancer cells.
Thinly slice 2 to 3 pieces of pineapple into a cup and add hot water, and it will be "alkaline water"; if you drink it daily, it is good for everyone.
Hot pineapple releases anti-cancer substances; it's the latest advancement in medicine for effective cancer treatment.
The warm fruit of pineapple has the effect of killing cysts and tumors; It has been proven to cure all types of cancer.
Pineapple hot water clears all the germs and toxins from the body due to allergies/allergies.
A drug derived from pineapple juice only destroys *violent cells* and does not affect healthy cells.
Also, the amino acids and pineapple polyphenols in pineapple juice can control high blood pressure, prevent blockage of internal blood vessels, improve blood circulation and reduce blood clotting.
After reading, tell others, family, friends and take care of your health.

*Convenient VS Commitment Goals*

What goals do you set for yourself?🤔

Convenient goals may offer immediate gratification, but committed goals hold the promise of a more fulfilling and meaningful journey. The success achieved through commitment is often sweeter because of the effort invested and the growth experienced along the way.

So, the next time you set a goal, ask yourself: Is it a convenient pursuit, or are you truly committed to its achievement? Remember, the road less traveled might be more challenging, but it leads to a destination that convenience could never reach.

Tears of Ugomma

Episode 2

Then, finally, Ugomma got pregnant at the age of fourteen.

When she realized she was pregnant, she cried bitterly. Her whole life was beginning to threaten her.

What happens when her auntie finds out that her junior sister is pregnant?

Well, days came to pass, and Ugomma’s elder sister finally found out that Ugomma was pregnant.

When her elder sister knew about this, she beat the hell out of Ugomma, including Mr. Bernard.

While Ugomma Sister was beating, Mr. Bernard was making some signs for Ugomma that she should never open her mouth to say he was responsible.

If she ever tells anyone that he is responsible for the pregnancy, her name is sorry.

Ugomma was afraid of Mr. Bernard; she didn’t tell her auntie that it was her husband who got her pregnant.

Mrs. Felicia suggested that Ugomma be returned to the village.

But her husband never agreed with that; he suggested that Ugomma should take a DNC.

After so much argument

So they finally agreed on that decision, and they took Ugomma for a DNC.

It was such a painful experience for Ugomma that she cried her eyes out. After the DNC has been done

Like two days after the DNC was done, Mr. Bernard started abúsing Ugomma again. He sleéps with her all the time, like before.

This time around, after sleéping with her, he would force her to take some drugs—some kind of tiny drug to take to prevent Ugomma from getting pregnant.

These drugs were not friendly at all. After taking these drugs, Ugomma always felt unconscious, like she was not herself any more.

This drug kept on disturbing her; sometimes she would be feeling very weak and sick

Then Mr. Bernard came up with a plan; he took Ugomma to the hospital. They inserted something into Ugomma’s body, something she never knew about.

Due to that thing that was inserted into her body, Ugomma started seeing her periods like four times in a month. That strange

Ugomma’s auntie was complaining about this. How can someone be seeing her period like four times in a month?

Her elder sister became worried, then she took Ugomma back to the hospital, and they removed the thing that was inserted into her body.

After all this, Ugomma got infected with some kinds of infections—not sexually transmitted infections, but due to what was inserted into her body.

They quickly treated the infection without wasting time.

After some days, Mr. Bernard started sléeping with Ugomma again, and then Ugomma got pregnant the second time.

He secretly took Ugomma for a DNC, which was so painful. After some time, Ugomma got pregnant for the third time.

Ugomma's life was just miserable; her whole life was under Mr. Bernard’s control.

She doesn’t even have time for herself; she was always abused by her uncle.

To cut the whole thing short, Ugomma got pregnant like seven times.

Ugomma was 19 years old when she got pregnant for the seventh time. That was when her auntie finally found out again.

Her auntie took her to the hospital for DNC again. Then she asked Ugomma who was responsible for the pregnancy.
